Mine has arrived. The stators seem to add quite a lot of noise. In comparison to a AP-15, the AP-15 is just quieter to my ears and also does appear to move much more air and appears to have much more static pressure too. I'm going to leave the fan running for a while to run the bearing in.

In which case Noctua really need to go ahead and design come actual CASES that compliment their fans, it only makes sense.
