Suggestions on a Macro keyboard

Thread Starter
Hey guys, I've bought the Razer Lycosa which looks and feels brilliant, but that's about it...

The Macro commands are typed out slowly instead of instant, you can only program a small list of instructions, it has limited delay options available, the Razer support is horrid, and setting mouse clicks within the macro don't even work...

Needless to say, I want a better keyboard. The unit itself is fine, but everything else is terrible.

Thought I'd get some expert advice, this was my first Macro KB.

Keyboard must have full media keys, instant (or close to) macros and a profile switcher.

Highly sought after features are
  • Blue backlighting
  • Dedicated macro keys
  • 1000Hz polling
  • Doesn't look terrible

The Roccat ISKU looks OK, but thought I'd get some advice first.

Thanks for your input.

Just buy any keyboard with macro keys that fits your needs and use AutoHotKey, a free program, to change what the the keys do. You can do this on razer products but you need to uninstall the horrid software first. AHK can be kinda difficult to figure out at first but its pretty powerful. Also 1000hz polling is a complete gimmick and does nothing for you
