Sound card and Razer Carcharias problem.

I bought Razer Carcharias for gaming purposes and the sound was very bad I must admit. I don't know why because on the reviews it had great grades! And I don't know what my sound card is, when I go to Device Manager and check under Sounds it says ATI HDMI Audio & Realtek High Definition Audio... I need to hear footsteps on CoD4 but with Carcharias the sound isnt clear enough... confused.gif Could it be the problem with my sound card? Should I buy another one? And if so which one do you recommend. And my price range is below 100 eu. Thank you in advance for your help! smile.gif

Buy a decent sound card, on board is terrible. You can get a good asus sound card for around 30 bucks.

Thank you for your response, but can you please specify which sound card do you prefer at a low price?

A Xonar DG, but honestly I've owned a pair of Carcharias. They are not that great.
