has anyone tried a jet cooler mod i thought about making one out of some hobby shop air propulsion motors they run off of 12 vdc and would make a good mod. there was a story about a kid that built compressed air motor but she also built an electric powered jet motor that seemed to be able to fit in a pc case the tubing could direct the air to the various components but there is a noise problem with the fins at nutral the jet is loud really loud but in theory it could be a record air cooler overclock.

I am curently using a [[ Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme Universal CPU Cooler 120mm Magnetic Fluid Dynamic LED Fan and Fan Controller/Heatsink Rev.1 ]] and it keeps my overclocked Core i7 980x at about 39 to 41 C at idle and even after extreme stress testing never let the CPU temp get above 80 C.... This is in a Mid-Tower case.

Prolimatech Megahalems. I use Rev.B ( has fan clips for push/pull fan attachments)

It keeps my i7 no higher than 50c @100% load.

Still of the opinion that very little can beat a Thermalright TRUE Rev. C. While I think that other extreme coolers from Noctua, Prolimatech, and a few others are great, many of them block RAM slots.

I replaced my original Tuniq Tower 120 with a TRUE Black and gained a 5-8C drop in temperatures. I'm using a Scythe S-Flex E-Series on it.
