I'm from ohio, I ski at both of the local ski parks, Mad River and Perfect North. I used to be a ski instructor at Mad River, but I was only teaching people you were failing the bunny hill, lol....it was embarassing.

Born and Raised on the slopes in Utah! Skied at a resort that changed hands three times! Anyone remember ParkWest? (hint: its the Canyons now) I have been a skier since 1973, and a boarder since 1984 I have hiked most of the Wasatch Backcountry.

My favorite resorts in Utah in order of appearance:

Snowbird

Alta

Brighton

the Canyons

Solitude

Powder Mountain

SnowBasin

While I was in the ARMY I snowboarded in KOREA, and JAPAN as well as on base in Alaska.

Been shredding (snowboarding) for a total of 15 years now... since I was 8 . All of my experience is on local mountains around Vancouver:

Mt. Washington (125+ days)

Cypress (~40 days)

Grouse (~20 days)

Whistler - possibly the best resort in the world (6x)

Mt. Seymour (once)

I would love to get to Baker or some of the mountains in the interior of BC this season. West Coast tends to get wet and heavy snow while the interior gets champagne powder!
At long last...

I've skiied since the age of 3. In order of skiing:

Centennial park (ie. mountain of garbage with ropetow) (ontario, GTA)

Mount st. louis-Moonstone (my home hill, skiied probably near 1000 days, taught as well) (ontario)

Beaver Valley (Ontario)

Mt. Tremblant (Quebec, week trip) -probably the epitome of what's wrong with skiing, overdeveloped, fake, more effort put into making a pretty village than maintaining the mountain itself

Panorama (B.C., for a week trip)

Sugarbush (Vermont, week trip)

Killington (Vermont, week trip)

Mt. St. Anne (Quebec, week trip split between anne and le Massif) -has some Tremblant-ism

Le Massif (Quebec, probably my favorite eastern skiing tied with Jay Peak)

Jay Peak (Vermont, awesome skiing for out east)

Kicking Horse (B.C., bar none the top of the list, steeps, trees, huge sidecountry, and 7+ metres of snowfall a year, ski bummed it for 1.5 months this winter before having to go home early due to injury)
