Old Socket A stuff in South Florida

Thread Starter
Where can I find old CHEAP parts in south florida? I will go broke paying retail to tinker with relics. Most interested in Socket A - AMD. Even mom & pop computer stores, fleamarkets or anywhere else I can get good deals.

I have a pretty old AMD K2 machine, I'm willing to let it go for a measly $25. It doesn't have a hard drive and I'm pretty sure it's still fully functioning other than possibly the power supply.

Edit: Err... I'll need to look into it if you're interested. I MIGHT have tossed that clunker out in the garbage... LOL.

CompUSA is about the cheapest store front you can get stuff from

I know this is an older thread, but there is a store I get parts from sometimes here in Fort Lauderdale on Powerline road. It is called H and J Electronics. Here is their link. My contacts name there is Preston. Send me a message if you plan on contacting them. They have pretty good prices and have older things laying around sometimes in their store room.

Well all info is of coarse welcome, that is most likely what the guy was looking for! I don't think he is still on-line or has not been actively looking back at this thread

Yeah, I see that. I just talked to one of my friends that works there last night after I got off of work, and he said he does have some old Socket A stuff laying around. A day late and a dollar short I guess...
