PAIN in the ass... They take atleast 5 minutes or more to bloody take out and then put in... Thank god I'm getting a new cooler for my build
post #5 of 8
They're not reliable for reuse. Traditional screws and nuts are WAY more reliable, esp w/ massive coolers like my CM Hyper N520

They are a pain in the ass to install. You can only get 3 of the 4 pins in and when you are pushing the last pin in it feals like the MB is going to snap in half. then when you think all the pins are in you pull up on the cooler to make shure its in and the pins just pop out. and when you want to remove them they wont come out.

these things suck

can only get them in correctly about half of the time

the tiny pins bend and break too easily

why cant intel use a bracket like every other hsf?

it was probably made so they could save 5 cents per heatsink somehow

I messed up another board again because of the push pins. AMD's design is so much better
