Finding subscriptions and updated threads

Thread Starter
I really don't want to be the first person to post in this sub-forum. Oh well, here goes.

In the old forums, I was able to click on the "UserCP" link and see all of the threads I was subscribed to that have been updated since the last time I visited that thread.

I've looked around the "My Profile" page, but I can't find anything like that in the new forums.

Definitely loving the new look!!!

If you look to the top right hand side of the page, near your user name you'll find a link to your subscriptions.

How do you find just the updated threads, though? When I click subscriptions, it takes me to view all my subscriptions, and I have to hunt through them to find the updates based on the icon on the left.

Theres a threads tab on the subscriptions page.

Yeah, I figured that one out. I guess I didn't make myself clear. When I click threads, I see all my subscribed threads. The only way I can tell if they've been updated or not since I last viewed them is to look at the icon on the left. Is there a place I can go to view just the threads that have been updated since my last view? Basically, I'm looking for something similar to old User CP view.

Also, is there a more convenient was to unsubscribe from threads than going to "Edit Subscription" and then clicking "Remove"? In the old system there was a "unsubscribe" button by each thread in the User CP.

Same problem here. I can't figure it out.

For me I'm seeing my list of subscribed threads in order of newest post. That is threads with new replies are showing up at the top.

The only way to remove them right now is to use the edit subscription link. You can use the check boxes along the left to select multiple threads on the edit page and delete them using the drop box at the bottom of the list.

Admin should make a feature request thread for this. I'd like to be able to remove them directly from the page.

One piece of advice is that subscriptions are on by default. So if you make a post you are subscribed to it automatically. You can change this though. My Profile> Edit Account Details> Email Preferences> Set new subscriptions to: [change this to the default setting you want]

Same boat here, can't figure out how to look at only updated subscriptions.

There is an activity tab though, I wonder if that's what er're looking for; maybe there haven't been any posts to update yet or the system is still crunching the data and that portion isn't working yet.

If you click on my "subscriptions" on the top right.

Then the next page will bring you to your subscriptions and at the top is a tab for "edit my subscriptions" .

There you can edit them, in numerous ways. Maybe that will help.
