RMA'ed my 560Ti golden edition and I think MSI is sending me back a regular version

so I called CS and after being on hold for 15 minutes a recorded message said "please leave a message" mad.gif I guess I will call again early tomorrow

anyone have any experience with MSI not having the exact card available? what can I ask/say?

all they had to do was replace the fans, not replace the whole thing with a lesser version, I suspect this will not end well

What makes you suspect that they would give you a lesser version? If anything, they should send you back something a bit better if they don't have exactly what you want. I would ask for a 570 if for some reason they don't have the card that you currently have.

No reason to worry though unless somehow you found out before hand that you are 100% for sure getting the other version.

the model number from an email they sent me doesn't match my card

when I requested the RMA my card's exact model# was not on the pulldown list, i figured they will get it right by serial number.

i guess i should wait before crying foul, i already got a fedex tracking number.
