Skyrim Eyefinity issues

So my problem is that the menus are just zoomed in too much. I've looked through the .ini files and there isn't anything I can change there to fix the situation like in Fallout 3 and Oblivion. Anyone else have this problem?

Yep. Im having same problem. Zoomed in sooooo much on when selecting and customizing character that I cant even see the character model properly and yes the menus are close to unusable. Ive been looking for a fix ever since it released on steam and have not had any luck.

in the console (hit ` in game) you can at least adjust the field of view of the character but it doesnt fix the zoomed in menus.

just type FOV ### and number you prefer. After screwing around with it i really liked FOV 105 the most but the range of 90-110 seem to all be usable depending on taste.

I checked the skyrimprefs.ini for something that would possibly fix the HUD with no prevail. Hope someone finds a fix soon. In the meantime I played a little bit without eyefinity and the game is pretty awesome. Need those HD texture packs though

It seems there is no fix yet, although the community is hard at work on it. There is more discussion over this on widescreengamingforum, and they are usually the place to put out a fix so I'd just keep and eye out. Until then, might be best to stick with 1 monitor unfortunately!

I think FOV 80 is good... Otherwise it just looks far too stretched and your hands are too small

My game won't even let me select eyefinity resolution. It's not an option, and unless I set it to some tiny resolution, I get a render won't initialize error.

Lots of great information in this thread. A few people reporting the same issues some of you have here with others giving fixes that some have confirmed work. They also just posted a small workaround to use until a permafix comes out.

I just pressed the default button and it put the right resolution. Couldn't choose it manually though. Right now I'm playing with one screen since it is otherwise pretty much unplayable.

That worked for me the first time I launched the game, but hasn't since. It was quite playable at Ultra preset with AA/AF turned to 2/4 respectively though for me.
