As the others suggested, a 6950 that will unlock into a 6970 will be great.

hmmm... interesting, how much would a nvidia 560 cost? As for prices, I probably wouldn't go over 250$ but i might stretch a little to get the 6950

I've read somewhere that AMD cards take a hit with AA enabled on BF3.

+1 gtx 570

The 560 TI and 6950 2GB are good picks right now.

Depends on what settings you like really, the 6950 is faster but if you want to run MSAA at x2-x4 then the 560 ti is the better option.

If you don't mind running without AA you will get better performance from the 6950.

I personally run a 6950 Maxed out without MSAA on every map apart from caspian border with around 60fps average. i play at 1920x1080 though, AA on or off isn't all that noticeable to me.

560ti's are around 230 USD. If you're able to get the 6950 though, go for it as its normally a better performer, there are somethings where the 560ti will perform better, but over all the 6950 will be better, especially if you unlock it to the 6970.

Whoops, forgot this was for BF3. lol

The 560ti will be better for AA in all your games. It's the one thing nvidia cards really excel at.

alright, well I think im gonna go for the 6950, one more question. If my cpu meets recommended specs for BF3, will it run it on medium and down, high and down, or ultra and down?

Your CPU will be fine for high, and some Ultra settings thrown in. Not all, but a few thrown in and you should be fine. Guarenteed graphics set on High though.
