My review of Mw3 Multiplayer

Maps: 3.5/5 - The maps are well balance IMO compared to the other cods they remind me of cod4 the most which always brings warmth to my heart. smile.gif

Sound: 2.5/5 - I have a Turtle Beach x12 and although footsteps and the announcer sounds clear gun sounds are almost exactly the same and voIP sounds muffled.

Gameplay: 3/5 - You can pretty much do any tactic on mw3...I think this is one of the most well balanced call of dutys so far...It's pretty hard to snipe with smgs like in previous cods but shotguns do need a serious buff considering they are primaries in this game now.

GameTypes: 4/5 - Fantastic, I absolutely LOVE kill confirmed all though it's near impossible to avoid campers on cod. The gametypes mixed with the maps make it so you need to go for the objective.

Perks: 5/5 - They are actually useful in this game and have one thing that cancels the other out complete balance here...

Graphics: 1/5 - No improvement what so ever...still running the same 1024x600 2aa @ 60fps.

This is my first ever review, so let me know how I did...smile.gif

Nice review you did good, but this is what I think of the game.

Maps: 2/5 - Maps literally suck. All these maps literally have too much stuff in the way. Stuff in the middle of the map like a million broken down busses don't really need to be there. A thousand trains lined up side by side. 5-8 entrances into the same buildings. WHY?

Sound: 2/5 - I have the same headsets, and I can barely hear where the enemy is coming from.

Gameplay: 3/5 - Getting spawned near enemies and having them spawn behind you is horrible. The gameplay isn't nearly as fun as it is in other CoD games. All the SMGs are terrible. Where is my AK47u? Shotguns suck unless you have godlike aim with the Model 1887 shotgun, and even then with lag it barely hit confirms the enemy. Assault rifles are alright. ACR and m16 are the only decent ones.

GameTypes: 2/5 - Team deathmatch is fun. Search and destroy sucks when the other team can throw grenades into the spawn area of the other team and get 3-4 kills 2 seconds into the match. FFA sucks when enemies spawn behind you, and you spawn in front of enemies. FFA isn't the only gametype that suffers from this spawning disaster.

Perks: 2/5 - Too many perks, too many killstreaks. Too much crap happening all the time. Everyone has UAV up almost 100% of the time. WHY?

Graphics: 2/5 - Same graphics as all the other CoDs. I don't really mind it though, I don't care about the graphics as much.

Network: 2/5 - Countless times I will be getting shot while running around a corner, only to still be getting hit and die. When I watch the killcam of the other guy, he kills me before I am around the corner. Obvious lag is obvious.

For some reason I am still playing this game. I'm not much of a BF guy, maybe I will give it a try.

How can you say Search and Destroy sucks though? It's the same gametype as the other CODs. I love Search. I really like Kill Confirmed. It helps to eliminate camping snipers because they have to leave their tents and campfires to go get the dog tags.

My friend owed me cash, and convinced me to buy it for the xbox. I was playing with about 7 of my friends and with my Turtlebeach x41s I can still hear the foot steps quite well so thats cool.

Gameplay still the same old same old... slightest lag in this game will not register shots correctly and people will kill you even if you get he drop on them.

Sound is alright... Im used to BF3 already so I went in expecting the same.

Maps... again coming from BF3(PC) they felt cramped.

Guns, I have not unlocked many, but I enjoy the different guns available on the game. Trolling with shield and having 3 of my buddies behind me helping me.

bottom line I did not have much expectation buying the game, I knew I would not like it that much. Most of my friends dont play PC games so this is a good way to trash talk to each other.

Maps: 4/5 - The maps are decent. They are fathoms better than Black Ops but they are missing the MW2 flair. I give it a 4 because I'm fairly certain the DLC will be very good.

Sound: 5/5 - I have no idea what you guys are all talking about. I have a 1000watt 5.1 DD Surround Sound and this game sound simply badass. I love playing the single player sooooo much with this system cranked.

Gameplay: 4.5/5 - I'm going to alter this section because I feel that you cannot lump the single player in with the multiplayer. The single player is a 4.5/5 because there is nothing wrong with the game. It plays very well. They add a lot of extra animations and the story is pretty damn good. I just keep dying a lot. Maybe I shouldn't be playing on Veteran lol. I give the multiplayer a 5/5. Everything great from MW2 is back and the only good thing Black Ops did correctly (two players on one screen) is in the game. The knifing system is finally fixed. I don't get knifed from farther than a foot away. The noob tube is no longer the first unlock for a gun so not as many people use it. The spawning system is a lot better. People don't spawn looking at me anymore. The methods in which you level up your gun is simply badass. You have to not only use the gun and get kills, but you have to be GOOD with your gun. Headshots get more XP. Killstreaks get more XP. If you're amazing with your M4, it'll be level 31 in no time.

Game Types: 4.5/5 - Kill Confirmed is an amazing game style. I cannot get enough of it. Team Defender is actually really cool. If anyone remembers Halo's Oddball, they'll be happy with this mode. I only have a problem with CTF. I hate when there is a giant symbol above my head that says "Hey the flag carrier is sneaking away." I always capped flags via stealth.

Perks: 5/5 - The perks are sweet. There is nothing wrong with them. They add to the gameplay and they help people play how they want to play. My only complaint is that even with Extreme Conditioning, you still run like a 50 year old man with lung cancer.

Graphics: 1/5 -The graphics are literally identical. I am not impressed with this bull****. They had two years to develop this game and instead they just redid the single player and added 20 new maps and a few game modes.

Overall: 4/5 - If you like the CoD franchise, you'll like this game. The single player has its epic moments and the multi player is extremely captivating. You will not be disappointed with this game.
