8 times in the last 16 years, and never once for the PC.

PC has been the king platform for me for the last 15+ years. But I'm beginning to hate these so called "True PC gamers" more then the console counter-parts.
Spot 1 bug in a PC game, suddenly it's a console port! A term which I'm sick to death of hearing because frankly, it's always being used in the wrong context.
Go play Splinter Cell Double Agent if you want to see a console port. Buttons don't work because they are still mapped to ACTUALL X-box buttons. Game just flat out crashes left right and center.
The current trend in console gaming that is causing me so much trouble is not the hardware limitations. It's the console USER limitations.
The lowest common denominator are stupid teenagers who can't think for them selves. So we get cover systems, regenerating health and press "X" to win.
I'll happily take bad graphics any day if the game isn't dumbed down to hell and actually has a soul.
I know this has been a huge tangent, but I needed to vent. tongue.gif

Many people have no idea what a "Console Port" is, they think if the game came out and didn't have DX11 that its a console port. Just because the graphics look the same as the console version doesn't mean its a console port. It just means the Dev didn't care enough to release a high-res texture pack, and why should they when you have all these morons pirating their games. Im just waiting for the day when it becomes a felony offense, and those losers can lose pretty much any chance of having a normal life again.

Go buy DMC3 on steam for a real console port.

Is it a good game? Well i got home last night at around 2am pretty mashed after a few days on the lash and decided to boot it up to see what all the commotion was about. Ended up playing it untill 10am this morning and after killing a couple of dragons and leveling up a bit and to be honest, the only reason i put it down and went to bed was because i noticed the birds chirping outside. It really is an amazing game and after messing around with some of the settings to get the most from my card I was more than happy to sit in a complete trance like a zombie. My advice, give it a go... review sites can only give you a rough idea on how the game felt for the reviewer, who knows if his/her's tastes are the same as yours.

Just got through reading the thread. Here's a question:

How do I juggle the time between Skyrim and BF3?

From what I've seen there's already been a modding community that's released a high-res texture pack... Must find * twitch*

Well im not a huge fan of this style of game im more into racing , fighting and shooting ..

But the detail to the world , the graphics look really cool .. for a dx9 game it looks stunning ! the open world is huge you can explore anywhere who knows what you will find when your out there wink.gif

the water , rocks and greenery look amazing ..

game in general reminds me of zelda abit , besides the dragons .

Well once you get over your disappointment with how much of a console port this game is and fix some of those issues then... YES, the game is really good.

Buy Skyrim if you are a gamer.
