This is one of the games I keep on playing hour after hour. The gameplay is mwah....and even the storyline is mwah.... but somehow this game keeps me interested and I want to play it!. So yes I'd say that this game is awesome.

Buy Skyrim if you are a gamer.

I'd sign this.

After the initial disappointment - and it took me two days to start playing - I got so hooked up, my whole day is about when and how i'm gonna play Skyrim.

Couldn't of said it better myself.

Once I'd got over it, tweaked the ini file to my liking and sorted a few mods, this game is amazing.

Let me just say this, its great. So much so that my (prego) wife couldn't sit in a computer chair watching any longer so at her request I moved my entire rig into the living room on our kitchen table all weekend. She watched, and loved, every minute of it, maybe more then me, and I F**KING loved it! Got through 20 levels, 1 main quest, lol.

I don't care in the slightest about it being a console port. PC gamers need to accept that, in the vast majority of cases, we are an afterthought for developers. Games are made to be played on a console using a controller, because that is where the money lies.

The point is Skyrim is a good console port considering just how bad it can be.

And anyway, the game is awesome. The scope is mind blowing, the gameplay is solid, and the world they have created often makes me stop and just look around, even in DX9.

The follow up to Oblivion could have easily sucked, given developers fondness for dumbing down, but it doesn't suck. It's amazeballs.

I don't care if it's a port from a scientific calculator; it is great fun to play and brilliant value for money, which works for me.

Just remember to quicksave. Often.

I have it on pc and it's amazing EXCEPT for the interface. It's actually easier to operate having a controller plugged into my pc, that's bad.

Other than that, it looks great, plays great.

I was very skeptical but looking forward to the game. Ordered it just 2 days in advance of release and was expecting something like Oblivion.
But boy this game was such a surprise, surely the graphics aren't all that and the menu's were clearly designed for console but all the rest is just top-notch. The environments, the animations, the music .... everything is awesome

Been playing all weekend focussing on the main quests which I finished after about 15 hours.
And now I'm really enjoying myself doing all the side quests :O
A MUST BUY for any gamer

I went and veered off of the main quest on my second playthrough (First one ended up me becoming a vampire, being a bit too late to stop it and now being hated by every villager and guard, so I quit and tried again :<) as a mage, and began doing the College of Winterhold side quests. Honestly, it was enjoyable but when I began to do the main quest again all the enemies were drastically tougher (Instead of normal wolves when hiking up to the Greybeards, I got ice wolves and bears...)
Still, I dislike that the AI can be exploited so easily.

by far passed my expectations, and they were VERY high considering Morrowind is my 2nd all time favorite RPG. There are already over 200+ mods for it on PC including visual mods ( http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=131 )

I haven't stayed up this long to play a game for a very long time, its literally all I've been doing except for nightlife in Atlanta the past weekend. It is stupid addictive, I thought I was addicted to WoW at the age of 14? PFFFFFFFFT I WAS WRONG LOL

My only complaint is they simplified alot of the attributes(combined some of them also) but it is a lot more user friendly in the end since the casual gamer base is very large(Mods will change it to make it more complicated and hardcore friendly). Other then that it is a great game, WAAAAY more Morrowind then Oblivion. Plus that visual mod I linked looks outstanding after tweaking the settings for awhile.
