I believe the op already said he is not buying from micro center, meaning he probably does not have one nearby (like me).

Yeah, there are none nearby. If there is some mobo advice I'd be willing to change as long as it doesn't add a ton to the price, but I've heard good things from the Gen3. If i were to switch would I want to go with an MSI board or Asus, the z68 chipsets for each run about the same.

it's not that i do not like asrock m/b. when i was building mine and reading reviews, i wanted the asrock mother board myself but a lot of people advised to go with asus for the same reasons i've stated.
i like asrock but for that price range, i believe asus is a lot better choice.
