Is this for purely gaming and web surfing ect? If so I would recommend getting a 2500k over a 2600k. Unless your doing video editing ect. You won't benefit from the 2600k and it's hyperthreading. That will save you a good $100

Yeah, it will be for gaming and general internet use. He wants some thin fast that will last him for years to come, gave me a $2000.00 budget so im doing him a favor by coming out below. The 100 dollar difference doesnt matter to him, and he doesnt overclock so I thought id get him the faster CPU.

only thing id change is the ssd and maybe the psu. Id go with a crucial c300 or m4. Personally I like the c300 better. And while you could get by with that 750w psu, Id recommend buying a 850 watt unit. If you shop around you can get one that is around the same price point or cheaper than that seasonic you had picked out. 850watt unit will provide you with better long term stability and reliability, and its always nice to have some extra head room incase you decide to upgrade.

The crucial m4 is the local favorite for ssds, but I think the c300 is the better of the two. However, right now the m4 is a tad cheaper and is an excellent choice.

Alright, Yeah I have seen that name come up when people talk about SSD's Ill switch over to that one, and a corsair PSU, Im just not sure which one because all the difference in model numbers and what they mean.. AX/TX/HX and so on.. Ill just get a 850 modular with good ratings. Also I have the wrong case up there, its the HAF-X not the 932..

Go with corsair's AX850. It's Gold rated for efficiency and it's fully modular so you only need to use the cables you require for a cleaner look. Not to mention it comes with a 7 year warranty that isn't voided if you sleeve the cables yourself ect.
