11b Update
6950's X-fire, 2500k OC to 4.3.
Works great don't see any graphical glitches and frame rates sway between 59-63fps. I think it's time to start playing this game, finally. I was not going to play it using a single card, I mean seriously!! I broke the bank buying this setup and I want to enjoy it to the full extent. On another note BF3 freezes when starting now. Going to try a re install, and join another thread:(

Yes guys, it's know about the graphical glitches. Andrew D hasn't tweeted anything about a re-release so it's basically at this point now. A. Use 11.11b if it fix's your crossfire, enjoy past glitches. or B. Play some other games until they fix something :/

hello gentlemen,

on the release notes for 11.11b:
  • New in Catalyst 11.11b: Delivers AMD CrossFire performance scaling for AMD Radeon HD 6000 Series
  • AMD Radeon HD 5000 CrossFire support will be supported soon in an updated driver

from the reports so far the people having problems are using the 5000 series. i would assume this means DON'T get this update if you're running a couple 5000 cards. seems the 6ks are running just fine, though.

No glitches on my 3x 6950s on 11.11b using the most recent CAP. I had made no .INI or .DLL changes.

However, it is only using two of my three 6950s, and with the two the scaling is not good. It may actually be negative. I will test when I'm outside.

EDIT - There is ZERO or slightly negative scaling with two of my 6950s. The third remains idle. Tested in a number of locations. No graphical glitches of any kind.

They better, I have a 2nd 6850 on the way. I'm gonna need both of them for mods.

I'm crossfiring a 5770 and a 6770. So that means they SORT of support crossfire for me??!?! There is no freaking difference between 5770 and 6770. Seriously!

Have given up on 11.11b with my crossfired HD5770s. Improved frame rate (up to 70% in some areas) with settings set to high but with artifacts and flickering, negative crossfire scaling with settings on Ultra. Have kept 11.11b but disabled one of the cards, frame rates are fine min 45fps @1440x900. Come on 11.12!

Guys, make sure your Skyrim is vanilla... that's what I heard on Guru. No 4gb patch, no LAA, no dll fix, delete all ini files so that the launcher can redetect your Crossfire set up. Still have flickering? I haven't tested this yet. All I know is that I used to get water flickering with the dll fix and 11.11/a.

8.93 ( nov 18 ) is it active CFX in Skyrim ?

Anyone know if this fixed the slight stuttering? The GPS would be a solid 60 but when turning or walking there would be a stutter even though it stays at 60fps. It seems to be an amd issue since I don't have the problem with my 460.
