I could definitely boost FPS with crossfire with the mods installed , and make my FPS a consistent 55-60, similar to how it runs with no mods. Since the game is CPU heavy, and not GPU heavy, I couldn't expect a double FPS increase in crossfire on this game.
Does the game run smooth on single GPU? Yes at the resolution I'm running, but what if someone wanted to play Skyrim on 3 or 6 monitors? They couldn't and be able to get playable framerates without multiple GPUs or turning settings WAY down.
