hell they came out with SC2 100 years after the first one and then broke it up into 3 parts and are selling each at full price.
diablo III innovation? find a way to get money from customers without charging a subscription.
the games you list in your profile: ME3, TR, and Hitman. where is the groundbreaking improvements to those? they're all the same formula, and they all sell which is why they keep the same formula.
and to say that parents are buying there kid a game when underaged as a negative to MW3 but not BF3? i guarantee you if you remove under 18 sales both games drop numbers just as quickly. but as the guy who responded to you said, how you parent is up to you. i'm sure you never played a game rated above your age category right?
and in case you haven't noticed, the vast majority of people flaming this game have no intention of buying it. they have preconceived notions about the franchise and they have been using the same argument since before the game came out.
it's a popular thing for a PC gamer to hate, just like BF3 is a popular thing to like. it's like a group of hipsters, and then you cry and whine when games are developed for consoles.
I don't play Blizzard games so I wouldn't really know anything about it.
I never claimed the games in my sig to be original, but the developers SEEM to innovate more than the Call of Duty ones (generally speaking). I don't see anything markedly different in this game. But you can see noticeable changes in the games in my sig. Whether they're good or bad, will be up for debate when they're out.
I've played plenty of games that I wasn't supposed to. However, my parents did not purchase them for me. Only once did that get past, and that was Here Comes the Pain for the PS2. I had to purchase games above my age category on my own or borrow them from older cousins. For about a year or two, I obtained them via...other methods.
Maybe it's just this thread, but the people I've met around in real life, are bashing the game, but are still getting it.
I'm not hating it because it's geared for consoles. I'm all for exclusivity in fact, it usually allows more resources for that game to be better. I can't afford a console, let alone the exorbitantly priced console games here in Mozambique. I'm quite thankful when I title does make it to PC.Edited by Deatharte - 11/12/11 at 11:57am
