Help: Overclocking A8-3850

Thread Starter
I am trying to overclock my A8-3850 with moderate settings but no luck. No matter what OC settings I apply I crash at Windows boot screen. I get past the bios, past the post but as soon as Windows loads is where I fail. I have searched everywhere and tried different prescribed settings including many from this forum with no success. Stock settings only work.

APU: A8-3850
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-A75M-UD2H
RAM: G. Skill 1866 Mhz (8 gig 2 x 4/9-10-9-28)
PSU: Corsair TX750
HD: 50 gig SSD & 1TB WD Storage
VIDEO: Saphire 6670HD (Crossfire enabled)

Stock settings: 29 x 100 = 2900 Mhz

I lowered the multiplier to 28 and raise FSB to 115. I also lowered the ram setting to 8 (1600 Mhz). The increase to FSB brought my ram back up to 1840. Close enough to my stock 1866.

As you can see, nothing outrageous here.
I am at my wits end. It's not about OC'ing anymore....I just want to know why.
Thank You.

I am not sure but I think that it is because of the crossfire setup. I read that the onboard gpu does not like to be over clocked. But I may be wrong.
