From what I've read already, the bootloader is locked which is a turnoff for some people. I personally will be going with the Galaxy Nexus if it stays announced only for Verizon in the next few weeks. You could always go demo it and see how it works and I think you could swap it in for the Nexus in a 30 day period (?) if you demo the Nexus and like it more.

I really don't like the RAZR's design. Go with the Nexus if you're ok with carrying around a giant phone.

Galaxy Nexus since the phone takes advantage of the whole screen and The RAZR doesn't have a removable battery.

The phones are actually about the same size. The Nexus is half a centimetre longer, but the Droid RAZR is a bit wider. Area wise the difference is just 2%.

Stay away from Motorola until they get bought out by Google. Samsung and HTC have embraced open bootloaders and community development, but Moto is still in the dark ages, producing locked phones that never get software updates.

But I'd say stay away from the Galaxy Nexus as well. Samsung should be releasing the Galaxy S II HD shortly after the Nexus. It will essentially be the same phone, but with SD card support and hardware buttons.

But honestly I'd wait a little while. With Google officially releasing a 720p phone you'll see Samsung's competitors scramble to catch up. If the Rezound is any indication, HTC will be releasing a ton of 1280x720 smartphones across multiple carriers.

AT&T just announced its getting the LG Nitro HD, which is also packing a 720p screen, only this time its a 4.5" IPS panel, which puts it on par with the iPhone 4S not only in image quality but display density as well (only with a 50% larger screen).

Giant phone? It's barely bigger than every other phone on the market. Bigger resolution is from using more estate on the phone, not it being huge. You must be confusing the Nexus with the Note.

Just went to the Verizon store to touch the Razr... I kind of want it, but Gingerbread feels terrible (any idea when it's due for an ICS upgrade?) and I don't like the idea of being locked in with Verizon for two years (Yet I'm kind of stuck with them, since EVERYONE I know uses Verizon)... I don't want the Nexus anymore due to their constant delays. I'd like to have a smart phone for pending trip, but perhaps I can hold out until Q1/Q2 2012 when Tegra 3 shows up in phones... I'll reach a decision at some point tonight tongue.gif

Gotta ignore iPhone 4S owners. wink.gif

I'm still sticking with the Galaxy Nexus. I'll take a 4.65" screen over 3.5" any day. thumb.gif

The RAZR isn't appealing to me either. JMO
