GTX570 BIOS?

Thread Starter
I'm having major issues with BF3. About 40 minutes into a game it just minimizes to desktop. No error messages, no sound looping, it just minimizes and have to kill it from taskmanager. A couple of people suggested that I update the BIOS for my card. That's fine but there's only one problem....PNY doesn't have anything about BIOSes on their site. So can I just get a Gigabyte or Asus BIOS and flash it to my card?

As long as its a reference card and you flash on a bios from a reference card it will be fine.

Who told you to update the vga bios and why do they think that is the cause?

BF3 thread/people on the BF3 forums, they said updating would do something to the voltage at load.

I see this issue a lot but it's simply fixed by upping core voltage. At least that's what fixed mine with my other Gtx 570 cards. I used MSI AB.

If you disabled your pagefile turn it on.

They don't know what they are talking about.

What would be a safe VCore?
