Hey guys, Jusst built my rig last week and awesome changes to the website btw !! biggrin.gif

this is what i am getting for my i5 2500k with a noctua nh-d14 fan.

i do not want to do automatic overclocking, what settings i need for overclocking, and does it matter if i add a video card later on? are the temps fine too?

Very good temps! You will mainly need to worry about 3 settings, BCLK frequency, CPU ratio, and Vcore(CPU voltage) First two settings on that page and the cpu ratio tab. Normally I would set BCLK to 100 and CPU Ratio to 40(4ghz) and start from there..you could do 45 and bring up teh voltage to 1.35 or something like that and just need to adjust voltage until it boots and then run a program like OCCT to see if its stable. It isn't recommended to go higher than 1.5v. I would try to keep it under 1.4v for 24/7 use.

i was playing around settings, this is what i am getting after getting it to 4.5 GHz...Temps around 52-55 degrees thus far...Core Voltage 1.336 max so far....ph34r2.gif

so have i reached the limit or i can go a bit more?
