When you go have RAIDXpert open, go to the help menu, under Logical drive View click on settings, in my version of RAIDXpert it very clearly states that you can select the different settings. I believe that I have even heard of someone with a sabertooth having these settings enabled.

i think its raid specific. if you look closely at that persons post, it says he is using raid 5. thats probably why hes able to change the settings. raid 0 is fast as it is. . idk though, i definitely wouldnt mind a reg hack just to see how it performs with those options changed. ive looked everywhere and havent found one.

I think he is in raid0 - he has just enabled raid5. The gigabytes bios has an option for raid5 enabled or not enabled. I'm going to contact AMD about this. I spent some time today with a fresh set of SSD's without any luck with the settings.
