It is like what Nintendo did for the Wii version of Twilight Princess. They made Link right handed because the majority of players are right handed.

Yes, I know that's WHY they did it, but they could have figured out a way to make a left-handed Link move to a right-handed player.

Yeah I feel like this is really going to bother me when I play Skyward Sword. Then again I could just be nitpicking (The same OCD that makes me get all the hearts and rubies in a room even when I don't need them)

Hope it looks as good as SSB: Brawl does on Dolphin. That game looks ridiculously good on my plasma. This SS doesn't even do it justice.

I wasn't detracting for no multiplayer, I was detracting for replay-ability (something multiplayer games tend not to suffer from, which was my point). Zelda games become very stale after a single playthrough because once you figure out the puzzles there's little point to replay it as the difficulty disappears.

Basically I was pointing out the ridiculous fallacy that there could really never be a truly perfect game. Heck, the reviewer even complains about lack of voice acting but gives the game a perfect score anyway.

Sorry, but if you stand the game up against another game and it falls short in any aspect, then how is it perfect?

Really we need a more realistic scoring system, where 5 would be a true average meaning scoring a 6 or 7 would be the making of an excellent game. In that sense I might agree with a 9 for this game, but "C'MON MAN. doh.gif", a 10? really? Skyward Sword is a 10 just as much as MW3 is rolleyes.gif

(btw, if the reviews are anywhere near accurate in describing this game as the best Zelda game ever, then I'm confident that it will likely be one of my all time favorite games, however that still doesn't mean I'd agree with giving it a perfect score)

do you not realize that the Zelda series is so convoluted that even elaborate multiple timeline/multiple Link theories struggle to explain how all the various games could interconnect, yet you complain about how one of the various "Links" happens to be right-handed...

Well, the split timeline theory has been debunked recently, so it all being one timeline makes things even more complicated I'd say. tongue.gif

Can't wait for some HD Zelda with real motion controls. I really didn't like Twilight Princess after loving just about every other Zelda game over the years. I still wish they'd go back to Wind Waker style graphics though, it would look stunning with modern tech.

I tried the demo on Dolphin. Dolphin does not support emulated motion plus. If you ahve a bluetooth hookup, you would probably be fine. It looked really good on my rig, with a GTX 560.

I ran the demo from The Pirate Bay on Dolphin and even that looked excellent. I was unable to get past the title screen though due to Dolphin not supporting emulated motion plus. I don't have the equipment to hook my Wii controller/nun chuck up to my computer. frown.gif

Ahhhh so excited for this! To those suggesting a switch so the right hand controls a left handed link, I feel like that would either distance me from the gameplay (I no longer feel like I'm making a "1:1" interaction with the environment) or maybe just bother me since it would be like telling your body to move your right hand but seeing it move your left. I think a cooler, though much harder, option would be to have the player choose right/left handedness and have link match this. If this has been done then...problem solved? If not, I would not be surprised as it seems like it would take an enormous amount of effort for a small detail.
