My biggest complaint would be the lack of contrast between different sections and text.

With blue lettering over light blue background, what’s that about?

Then the light gray text in slightly lighter gray background, who in the world designed this things, there are other colors other then dark blue, blue, light blue…ridiculous sozo.gif

Here is an example of a great forum: using vBulletin 4.0
Bold Black for main section, black on light gray for sub sections

http://www.audizine.com/forum/forumdisplay.php/46-B6-B7-S4-RS4

here unread threads appear in BOLD black, while threads your read are not in bold…over very light gray.

There is no HUGE panel to the right taking up 1/3 of the screen for the first 4-5 posts on top of every page for MORE ads…thanks a bunch.thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

Yes, the new features are nice but not worth the above mentioned annoyances.

Again, there's still adjustments being made to the stylesheet. There's also a skin in the works, but it's low priority currently. Chipp expects there to be a "full" night skin by sometime early next year.

As far as your browser crashing goes, I'm on Firefox 8.0 and I've had no crashes or issues, have you tried any other browser you have installed? I've heard netbooks and such are having an issue with OCN, but I'm not entirely sure that way of that right now. As far as your rep issue goes, the reps have been restored successfully. If yours are still not, submit a bug report or PM Chipp / Admin, they can get you settled.

You're right, my rep is back to normal. Not that it matters, lol. I switched to FF8 just now and haven't seen a crash yet, thanks.

I love all the new features but I kinda hate the style , the old style was better and more classic , glad to hear you are working on darker style , Great work though , I really appreciate what you did .
I like the RigBuilder , the way my rig is shown , the new review system and the other features .

After using it for a few days I must say, I'm not really affected at all. The first time I ran the "new look" I went into the prefs and removed all the junk I didn't want. It never occurred that anyone wouldn't go looking into the options and prefs to turn off the stuff they don't like.

I like the editor now. I used to have to open another browser window (or tab) so I could add in my quotes and replies, but now they're all added into the editor automatically. That's a little easier than it was. As for the screen colours, they do seem a little...pale? Really though I just don't think text colour is a major issue.

The email notification for new content has just started working (literally while I was writing this comment).

The other thing is that I have not gotten a single server error since the new system went up. I'm really happy about that.

So, I have to say I really have nothing to complain about (which is really good for me, usually I can find something). I don't see the big deal myself. A few things are better, a few things don't look quite as purdy. It's all good. The new skin should be nice when it's available.
