New build on a budget any good?

Okay so theres a big possibility of me buying a Desktop. This is strictly gaming, surfing web so I don't really need much. Things to note at the moment i have a 1600x900 resolution screen and not sure if im gonna upgrade the monitor. I also might use a 1680x1050 monitor so its between 1600x900-1680x1050.
Games I play - League of Legends, BF3, CS-Go, Diablo 3 and SWTOR. dota 2 are pretty much the only games I would like to and probably gonna play. One thing i would like to note is I would like to start streaming all these games at 720p.

$189.99 @ microcenter CPU- i5 2500K- prob gonna OC to 4.2ghz+ (you think stock fan will be fine for this?)
$94.99 MotherBoard ASRock Z68M/USB3
$59.99 PSU SILVERSTONE ST50F-ES 500W
$24.99 RAM G.Skill Ripjaws 1x4gb
$49.99 Case Rosewill Blackbone Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case (hope that can fit most gpus)
now for the gpu not sure which to go with.
the 3 choices are the AMD 6870, GTX 560 TI or 1gb 6950. I would like to play the games while streaming in ultra with no lag. My internet is suffiecient for all these. any suggestions for making the computer cheap and better would be helpful.

Looks like it will be a pretty good build for a budget pc. I would recommend getting a new cooler for your 2500k because mine hit 70c right out of the box with no OC running prime95, maybe a CM hyper 212+. I would go with the 560 ti if you don't plan on going over1680x1050 becasue i have almost everything on ultra running 1920x1200 @ 36fps avg. Good luck

A single 2 Gb. 6950 can run Battlefield 3 on Ultra.

Trust me, I just built 2x PCs with a single 6950 in both.

One has an i7-2600k and the other has an AMD Phenom II X4 960T 3.0 Ghz..

I should mention that they both run on 1920x1080 resolutions smile.gif

Definitely. BF3 does like to chew up VRAM with all those textures and models, especially with people loving to play it on ultra settings and all, so 2GB is going to work out great. There is also quite a difference between the 1GB and 2GB versions of the 6950, with the 1GB model lagging behind on certain games. I'd go for it.

Rosewill Blackbone does not offer any cable management, spend extra $10 and get Rosewill Challenger.

Change RAM into this (single RAM stick does NOT activate dual channel),

Change motherboard into this (Z68M/USB3 does not have MOSFET heatsink, never OC without MOSFET heatsink),

OR
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157251

Get Cooler Master Hyper 212+ (Intel stock cooler won't do OC at all),
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065

Get 6950 2GB for your need, it is faster than 560 Ti. Forget about 6870.

I take it you have HDD, DVD, OS, etc?

Okay ill do that. I do have an os, dont need a dvd drive. as for the hdd i have a few spare ones laying around. Well i was planning on keeping down the price to about $700, but went everything i went over a little which is fine. I would have to keep my 1600x900 monitor for now and buy a 1080 monitor a little later after i build this. thanks a lot everyone

i don't like that mobo if you're going to overclock..get the pro3-m..it has nice sinks on the vrms..i've had a couple..umm..just don't push them past 4.5ish though..derp!
you could get a cheaper case..
i think that "green" psu is same price and slightly better..
1 more "get a hyper" vote
as for gpu..6870 is good..as is 560Ti..the Ti is probably a bit better...or you could go a little cheaper with 6790..
