I don't personally have experience with that exact ram, but Corsair makes great stuff. My PSU and XMS3 ram are awesome, never really got into ram OCing though...... thumb.gif

Vengeance is great, and the LP version is the same as the normal ones, just without the ridiculous heatsinks.

EDIT: Oh, for overclocking, I don't know, I heaven't tried overclocking mine yet.

Hey guys, just for people's reference ...

I decided to return my T1s and get the Corsair Vengeance LP 4 GB modules.

My timings for these are 7-8-7-27-1T @ 1.6V, 1436? mhz, 10 GB/s read, 9 GB/S write, 13 GB/s copy, 42 ns latency

my T1s cannot get down to CL7, but it could run at 9-9-9-27-2T, 1436 mhz, around 8.9 GB/s read, and i forgot the rest lol.

Either way, I am very happy with this switch. T1s are really good memory from reviews, but I have a GA-870A-UD3 so I dont know if the memory controller is up to par to handle ... that memory?

I hope people find this a bit useful. I personally dont know why T1s dont work while Corsairs do, since I have really good experiences with the HyperX blu 4x2GB (7-8-7-21-1T)

NB voltage and frequencies were at 1.4 V, and 2760 Ghz
CPU is overclocked to 4.0 ghz, 276 mhz x 14.5
HT link is around 2.2 Ghz

u can definitely try that. 2000 mhz should be fine imo. but the timings are not going to be great.
MY mobo cant let me do 2000 mhz nor anything above 1866 frown.gif
