i2500k + Asus P8Z68-V Pro Gen3 Settings ? - Page 2

Ooooh believe me you can, I still have a bad taste in my mouth from a P3 era ASUS board. Or you can ask the dude on XS who has $15,000 worth of Asus boards that died. I'm leary but I really dig these new BIOS, and I don't want an ASUS lite board (Asrock). I'm bummed they dont have a Gen 3 MATX board out anyone know if they have one coming out?

Well sorry to hear that and I guess problems can be with any manufacturer but what I have seen all these years are that most ppl are happy with Asus boards and they are awsome for overclocking smile.gif

I really love the UEFI Bios, feels so nice compared to the old DOS like Bios!

Dont know about Asrock-Gen3 but im sure they will come but I say take a chance with the Asus Pro/GEN 3 smile.gif

Head over to the Sandy stable club and you can find all the info you want. The spreadsheet in the OP has voltage and temperature info that should be helpful. Also BIOS templates are also available.
Link is in my sig, click the spoiler button to reveal the links.

Thanks for the heads up on the Sandy Stable Club

Hi All and OP,

There is also an Asus specific thread and group that cover these boards. The BIOS settings I started with cane off one of the posts on that group that I chaged slightly to fit my board, compnents and needs.
Here is a link to it, but you can also find in the Intel, Motherbords section of this site. Very helpful for Asus boards.
