i will have to agree. Silverstone makes really good if not great psu. I have built many rigs with silverstone and only had 1 lemon. Both units the silver and gold are great. If you have the money go gold. if not you will be happy with silver

Also i like the choice of going fully modular. so if something happens u just send back the psu and not all the cables

I agree that the ZT is definitely not as good, but I'd think that most things around the ZT level are already "good enough" and thus most more expensive things should not be considered as better values in general, just superior regardless of price.

Interpretation of value definitely varies from person to person though.

Lepa G700 @ 100$ after rebate or NZXT 750W @ 112$ after rebate.. both are excellent deals and both are excellent units, especially the Hale.
But if you absolutely, positively have to buy a fully modular unit go with the Strider Plus 750W suggested above.

Get a Corsair or Seasonic 750W, they are essentially the same PSU (same internal parts) just the Corsair is rebranded from Seasonic. Corsair is typically cheaper then Seasonic.

I got my OCZ ZX 850W Fully Modular 80 Plus Gold for $115 after instant and mailin rebate. You should be able to find a great PS in in your range for about 100 bucks.

I believe that you would be better off going with either corsair(Seasonic made), Seasonic itself or NZXT which is made by superflower but i talked to a rep who said there actually made by seasonic now. The poster above who stated the OCZ Gold ZX that is also a really nice psu. But i would pick from a company that has amazing CS like Corsair and NZXT and both have advanced rma
