well this fix you posted helps take some of the burning away from my eyes... but it still burns lol +rep

It would of been awesome if the problematic things god fixed, but they didn't.

The problems are still there, and on top of that there is a whole bunch of un-needed crap everywhere that increases load times and makes the site slower. Like rig builder, I could really care less about other people's rigs. The new OCN was cool at first, until I realized that no one will ever use any of the new features.

1. What problematic things that aren't being fixed are you specifically speaking of?

2. Just because you yourself don't use the new features does not mean they're useless or crap. We gave you the option to hide the features you did not like (carousel, right column, etc).

3. The rig builder is a much more enhanced version of the old rig system on OCN. It allows the person to give great detail into their products and rig itself. Sure, you don't care about other people's rigs, but some people might want to add a lot of detail to their rigs. Also, it helps a lot when diagnosing any issues a person may be having.

And what exactly is the point of adding greater detail to an already crowded sig area? I mean really, does ANYONE care what card reader you have installed into your 3.5" drive bay? WTH??!! If youre too lazy to: ask the person something about their equipment, or look it up yourself, you have no business knowing.

There is an easy fix here - use the "Expand Featured Signature Item" preference. If you want that detail expanded by default, great! If you don't, turn off the preference to expand the content, and you'll only ever see all the details if you want to.
