Modern warfare 3 Questions

Thread Starter
I'm thinking of getting this but,

is it really thaat bad? review's are high.

hows does the SP compare to MW2/Black Ops, in terms of length and game-play, story?

is there offline LAN?
Not sure about LAN, but the game itself is just okay. It's pretty much MW2. I have it myself and enjoy playing it, but there's almost no difference between this and MW2.

As for the campaign, I never understood the storyline, so I really can't comment.

honestly the look and sounds are MW2. Buildings are recycled from MW2, as well as textures and sounds. It is only different in terms of perks and killstreak rewards and how they are used. The issues with mouse sensitivity is also something that has turned me off of the game along with the terrible lag and the fact that the servers that you can search for individually are not ranked servers. Warning: Spoiler ! (Click to show)
The SP story was not bad but I was pissed they killed Soap....SOAP! SOOOOAAP!

ANyway I went back to BF3 even though it has its fair share of issues, but it just feels and looks better. I find myself having major issues in MW3 getting my character to do what I want him to do. I run into walls because it turns too fast or too slow when I am not expecting it. I have messed with sensitivty so much that it is just frustrating. I am sure some adapted fine to it but I know there are a lot of hackers in it already. The hack is easy to get, and is not detected by steams awful VAC. Same goes for BF3 and punkbuster though.

If you haven't convinced yourself you hate Call of Duty, it's a solid if uninspired addition to the series.

The single player mission game, is only about 5-6 hours if you play it on easy biggrin.gif
But as "easy" isn't the way it's meant to be played, meh.

IMO it's every bit as good as all the other CoD games SP!
You get to play your part in a "movie like" game smile.gif

And I must say, nothing about the game annoyed me thumb.gif
So, if you like CoD. I say get it smile.gif

It was only 5-6 hours for me, and I played on Veteran.
