Have i gone completely insane? Been playing BF3 for what 2 weeks now and while i enjoy it i was missing "Atacama" so i just went and played a few rounds and "Oh how i have missed the". Maybe i'll feel different when Karkand gets released. Am i nuts or have others felt the same way?

I miss some parts of BC2, mainly the maps! I like the maps of BC2 loads more than the maps of BF3.

Your post is a tad vague, but I understand the heart of it. Its true in places that BC2's Maps really made the game what it was, a huge, open experience where sections were tight and others were open. However, I think that BF3's engine is better and more realistic. Give dice time to release all the fixes and DLC, by then it should be a great game. But for now it isn't. And that is sad.

As soon as the F-35 gets here with Karkand, I'll never stop playing biggrin.gif.

at the moment, Ive tested all types of gameplay and I must say its getting booring, fast

I liked how the textures weren't blurred and compressed in BC2.

I also prefer bc2 mainly because i hate the battlefield 3 city maps metro, seine crossing and grand bazaar. Also I preferred the destruction in bc2 where pretty much everything could be deestroyed in bf3 only specific parts of buildings can be destroyed

Can you post a picture with these blurred textures in game? I haven't noticed any textures that have been blurred or looked blurred.

Anyway I really don't mind playing either one but I prefer BF3 because of how it plays compared to BC2.

the maps of BC2 were a LOT better indeed.

I hope DICE convert some of the maps from BC2 to BF3. I do miss Atacama and the other large conquest maps. The current BF3 maps are just too small.

If the Karkand pack castrates the maps as we've seen, you're going to like BC2 even more and I'll be sending EA a nice email.
