the call log list, the default option is to have everything listed at once – including incoming and outgoing messages.
If you want to just see calls you've made, like nearly everyone in the world, you can't. We don't know why Samsung thinks this is a good idea, but we hope it goes away in the future, or at least becomes an option to toggle.
As I said "prove it" PS your proof only shows your version has the option. As you can clearly see everyone else doesn't.

Seriously man, pull the other one. I'm on the completely stock version of Touchwiz/Android provided by Samsung. The option has been there since I bought the phone on release day. If you don't want to see texts in the logs, change the freaking filter by pressing the menu button while on the logs screen. 3 other people at my work have SII's and they have the filter. How are you finding this so difficult.

This of it this way. The only reason you will cope with GS II is Software. I learned my lesson that Hardware does not matter much. I went from Galaxy S - HD7 - Atrix and then iPhone 4. All the 3 phones before where faster. Personally i would do it if you are bored of iOS.

And just cause they're on IOS doesn't mean they suddently don't count. You're being ridiculous.

When they run the best on iOS single core or dual and run like

http://forum.gameloft.com/index.php?topic=15150.0 on the other phone it does make a difference whether or not its on iOS.

3 guys "at your work" does not trump 2 professional reviews with links and the guys at XDA. Try again.

They run perfectly for me so it's a non-issue for me.

JUST PRESS THE FREAKING MENU BUTTON. THE OPTION IS RIGHT THERE.

If you seriously own the SII, and you can't press the menu button to see for yourself. It honestly baffles me how you managed to get out of bed and dress yourself this morning.

If pressing said button proves too difficult. I can provide a screenshot for your viewing pleasure.

hellonwheelz, I have a bone stock Mesmerize sitting in front of me, with the OS identical to the one in your quoted review. Those reviewers are complete idiots. I don't know how to take screenshots, but I can assure, it only takes two taps on the screen to filter calls.

Does that setting stick? Because that is why the xda guys tell you to root it, as well as the professional reviewers. I would never ever want to see the txts in my call log.

Just because its works on your phone doesn't mean all touchwiz phones work the same way. I traded my epic touch so I can't check it now and my galaxy s doesn't do this at all.
