... All other CPUs had the rate lower than 1%.

Failure rate of the FX broke all records in the first month of selling. It probably will not be problem of manufacturing process, because we have not seen yet a single Llano failed. I expect some bug in design, something similar to Northwood, which had some conductive paths too thin and with Vcore above 1.75 it could die. But to FX it sometimes happens at default or quite often at low OC on air.

I just sent a dead Llano off yesterday lol. I did pan it tho..

Probably shoving it into an AM2+ socket.

Proably using the stock cooler.
That thing cant even handle the stock clocks with out thermal throttling.

Also the motherboards Bios arnt so good, If I reset my CMOS then it sets the votlage to 1.44V on my 8120 where stock is 1.28V. And it will only pick up the real stock voltage if it gets all the way into windows then I restart.

Or they could just think they are broken because its easy for it to BSOD even at stock speeds if you dont disable turbo core with a bios that works or in AOD.
