Recommend me a TV $1000-$1299 - Page 2

I got a Samsung 3 years ago and it's been really solid. Not sure what's out there now but they're definitely the first brand I'll look at for my next TV.

Any idea of Full Array LED tv's in that range? the only ones I can seem to find are the Vizio XVT series, which has pretty solid reviews, but I want to keep my options open.

Not just that but the scan lines or w/e they call it may also be seen in 2D (I am pretty sure that you'll be using your TV in 2D mode 90% of the time).

Sorry, I am not sure what to say about full arrays, they are supposedly the best for LCD/LEDs but I heard they cause blooming artifacts. As to tell you on how much impact that really does to the overall image, sorry.. I haven't seen any in real life.

I would at least stay far away from the top end models though as they're usually not worth the price to features to performance ratio.

Where are you planning to buy your TV anyway?

Probably Costco [similar to sams club if your un aware] at this point because they automatically increase the standard manufacture warranty to 2 years at no charge and the 3 years addon warranty (totaling 5 years) is only 60-70 extra. Not to mention they are usually 50-200 cheaper than the competitors
