Does Skyrim save your saves to the Steam Cloud?

Thread Starter
For example, lets say I get like 30 hours into Skyrim, and I want to play on a different computer while on vacation. Will my saves be there when I install the game on my desktop overseas?

I've seen Skyrim sync after I exit a game, however I haven't been able to find a definite answer for saves. It'd probably be best to test it out yourself, I've seen people saying both it does and it doesn't sync saves.

Skyrim does not save to cloud, I too logged 30 hours and then tried it on my laptop and it asks me to start a new game. I am not surprised as you seem to be able to have infinite saves and backing that much data up would be hard.

Copy saves folder to flashdrive or upload it to a dropbox type site would work since it doesn't seem like it saves to the cloud

That's what I did with great success. Only thing is make sure not to rely on autosaves & quikcsaves that will likely have the same names....

Saved files are in "My Documents\My Games\Skyrim" or something very similar to that...

Steam doesn't sync your saves, but here's a nifty solution I made:
http://forums.benheck.com/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=45039&p=454218#p454218

Check out the 3rd post. smile.gif

It's basically a batch file solution that requires Dropbox. It's been a real help to me when changing from laptop to desktop.

That's a pretty nifty solution. Feel free to post it here as well.

It would be nice if it did, but that would limit your save file amount. Steam would hate me... 43 hours played, 586 saves. I save about every 4 minutes lol. My saves folder is 3.81gb
