Monitor shuts down during gaming! - Page 2

Sorry but I am pretty sure this is a problem with your videocard and not your monitor.
Your monitor doesn't "shuts down" if you have a message saying no DVI signal, it means your videocard has "shut down".

Check the videocard.

sounds like video card overheat and shutoff ...you should run realtemp while you play a game...shows cpu temp and gpu temps tongue.gif

i would manually set the fan to run at like 60-70% speed while gaming ...just having it run in auto mode never works too well hearing it spool up reall fast and then down.. just having it run at a constant speed is better .
