have you looked at the deathadder at all? it is about ~$50 http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Deathadder-Precision-Infrared-RZ01-00151400-R3/dp/B002Q4U5DK/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1321338795&sr=1-1

I also use a finger grip and have had good luck with it

I also use this mouse pad: http://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-QcK-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B000UEZ36W/ref=sr_1_6?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1321338862&sr=1-6

(sorry for some reason embedded urls aren't working for me)

cheers!

I'm going to chime in here if you don't mind. I have a Logitech G700, and I absolutely love it. However, it just up and died on me, so I am currently in the process of an RMA. I decided to purchase a temporary replacement. I went with a SteelSeries Ikari, and that was just terrible, so I decided to go cheap and bought a Microsoft Comfort Mouse 6000 for $25.

Needless to say, I am blown away. This mouse is perfect, really. I think when I get my G700 back from RMA I'll just sell it on here.

The Comfort Mouse 6000 is really close to the Death Adder, but for half the price.

Newegg.

I have looked at it. In fact; I had decided to get the Deathadder 3.5G Black. Similar to the one you linked to. And I'm also getting the QKC Mass

Thanks for the suggestion. The MS mouse does look a lot like the Deatadder. I think I've made up my mind on the Razer mouse though. It fits my budget and looks good.

I have been doing a bit of research and liked the look of the Mionix NAOS 5000, but it seems that it does not get good reviews by the people in the know so I'll stick to the DA.

Well... I had some R.L. issues that prevented me from ordering my mouse and pad until today. biggrin.gif

So come Feb 12th (Amazon free shipping takes a while) I will have my Death Adder B.E and my Steelseries QcK pad.

Thanks to all that replied here.

Great choice, btw.

thanks for the try, but you must have done something wrong because i'm pretty sure it has more than 200dpi... maybe bigger polling speed?
