[DF/EG]Modern Warfare 3 vs. Battlefield 3 - Page 5

The intelligence of the post internet age is amazing.

It requires someone to write a article about a video for people to understand that they are two different games targeted at different audiences.

You know what makes a good fps? Not it's puuurty graphics and epeen specs, it's fluid, smooth gameplay. Something that doesn't require a $500 video card to play smoothly.

IMO sales don't mean anything. MW3/COD has been made for the masses. Most of the MW3 buyers are those cant afford or have the knowledge to have a decent rig. I have an X-Box, PS3, and my RIG and I can honestly say I have not touched either console nearlyas much as my rig. BTW I have BF3 for PS3 because a friend of mine that doesnt have a good enough PC bought it for me so we could play. It's still in it's original packaging.

Fair enough, but pretty sad to come in and troll PC gamers because apparently we're not the ones "doing it right."
I need to throw my build out and get a ****box apparently..

I don't think anyone is really focused on the game sales to the point where they said that it was defining which game was better. The point of sales what to prove that BF did nowhere near as better, even though EA/DICE had made statements it would blow CoD out of the water in sales. It was just the opposite. Not that it changes anything at all, but they were wrong.

oh that's so tired out it's not even worth a grin at anymore.
Especially when BF3 plays/looks/feels so much like BC2, as opposed to BF2 like it should be. It's contradictory.

You see, that doesn't quite fly. Quite subjective.
I have a rig, with even a 6990 and an Eyefinity setup. Almost 75% of my gaming lately is all PS3 and 360, the 25% being the exception of BF3 on the PC. Now Skyrim would be apart of that PC one.... if it worked with my Eyefinity setup. Just another~ launch and driver problem - go figure. So glad my game actually works properly when I turn on Uncharted 3. Would hate for the game to not perform properly! Not to mention, it looks like Skyrim on the 360 would be just dandy on the 360 even as opposed to the PC.

I find the deeper gameplay of Conquest, where I can make a difference beyond just by k/d engrossing. I find the capacity for versatility beyond just my ability to bear down on a target to be amazing. Beyond just graphics and sound, BF3 gives me the experience MW3 offers, and MORE~ and that four outweighs any comparison. For the money, Battlefield 3 gives me a complete package while MW3 gives me a small, light set of features.

Battle-proven features, sure~ but light. I played Call of Duty, many, many times before. Before Call of Duty, I already was familiar with the arena deathmatch shooter since the days of Quake and Unreal. I want more, and Battlefield has given me that. If you still crave the simple days of Goldeneye-styled arena shooting, MW3 gives everyone that in spades, but Battlefield 3 is more than just graphics and audio. It's the entire spectrum of what Modern Combat shooters have to offer. The vehicles. The campaign. The air, ground, infantry paradigm that dominates every aspect of modern combat gaming.

Battlefield is the tip of the spear that all others follow, and that's the truth. Everything else is, definitely opinion.
