Hey guys I'm seriously considering going WC as I would like to attain 4.0ghz + on my cpu and would really want to quiet down my cards, that are quite loud at load. I7930 + GTX 470 x 2

So far my parts:
For the GPUs
EK-FC470 GTX for Nvidia GTX 470 Reference Design - Acetal + EN (Nickel) x 2 (- Optional SLI Fitting Add CrossSLI Danger Den Fittings Set
- Fitting Size 1/2" Barb for 1/2" ID tube)

CPU
XSPC RASA (- Fitting Size 1/2" Barb for 1/2" ID tube)
Is this a decent choice?

Case
Coolermaster 690 II

Rads

RX240 - Nozzles Add Nozzle Pair, G 1/4" Swivel Angled [13mm, 1/2"] NZL-L13KG
RS240 - Fitting Size 1/2" Barb for 1/2" ID tube

Tubing

PrimoFlex Pro LRT UV Blue Tubing -1/2in. ID X 3/4in. OD about 10 feet.

The rads I want to use are rs240 + rx240, as the rx would be too thick to be able to stick in the top spot of the case and only fits in the bottom part, because I want to mount RS on the top, and RX on the bottom. Essentially something like this, only he uses two rs's. Can I do that (use one rx and one rs), and would it be enough to use those two rads to cool the 930+gtx470s in sli

I also need help picking out a res and a pump. I like the idea of a res in the drive bays, but also want a really quiet pump, like under 35dB. I also need help picking out fans, but essentially I want this whole thing to be as quiet as possible.

I heard good things about this pump : Swiftech MCP35X 12v

What i like is this combo :
PUMP : http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=59_201&products_id=28303
RES : http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=59_318_665&products_id=27998

I don't know how it will fit in that case.

Yeah that pump is quiet and I guess that I could find somewhere to put it, but does that Res work without the lailing d5 pump? Also looked into the d5 pump, not sure how loud it is though. Ideally if it wouldn't be too loud, then that would be a good setup for me, to have the res + pump in one. Any further suggestions on that? Also for fans someone a while back recommended scythe gentle typhoon 1850, but would those be good for both the RS and the RX? Are these Rads enough to cool all that? Any further suggestions? tongue.gif

I would go for a DDC type pump as these little powerful small pumps can fit anywhere, all you really need is any Laing DDC 3.25 (spec: 2.3 GPM) for the amount of blocks and rads you'll be running. I'm running a Laing DDC 3.25 with an EK V2 pump top, this pump would serve you well for your water cooling loop! Together with an XSPC res top you'll truly have an all in one pump/res! The Gentle Typhoons 1850's are the most popular radiator fan period, they also have them in super quiet 1450!
