No it doesn't, I tested before making my response on this thread since the last time I played it was a long time ago,
I know I didn't edit anything for it either as I installed it a few months ago when I built this system, and I didn't edit anything config wise.
At most and this is a VERY small "at most" exception, it feels ever-so-slightly off due to perhaps not having a perfect FoV for widescreen aspect ratios. But it's so minimal that even myself, who's very picky, doesn't have an issue with it. I'm the guy that refuses to pay for Skyrim because the mouse issues render it unplayable for me, even with acceleration/smoothing and Vsync disabled.
Keep in mind I never really considered the "slightly off" movement to be an issue, but I can't call it perfect.
But, I would attribute the "slightly off" feeling due to the way the character itself moves in the game, that's another factor people don't seem to realize.
Another possibility is that in some apps/games, you gain "more" acceleration or it seemingly appears out of nowhere due to the way the games coded based upon if you have acceleration itself enabled in your Operating System, I've seen dev's talk about this. So, in essence it's combining both and will always feel off because for some reason some dev's think people enjoy mouse acceleration instead of increasing the sensitivity.
If that is the case then having acceleration enabled in Windows might be activating something else in the game.
TL:DR - I see nor feel no mouse smoothing in the menu, nor any acceleration in the game and I've always been the type of person that immediately stops playing a game if I do so I can prevent it.Edited by Ascii Aficionado - 11/15/11 at 4:26am
