Got a link for one? I've been looking and can't seem to find one. Need to see how much of an investment I'll be making.

ive been emailing back and forth with an g4 g5 guru about the external monitor mod as well as a all in one pc mod if your really interested I can pm you our discussion basicly in a nut shell what you do is either pick up the psu for the g5 and a controller board and mod the video cable or just pick up a busted cinema display and use those guts

ill email him today and get the specifics from him and send them to you then you can decide what you want to do

if you pulled off the back of your 17in and looked at the mounting screw locations you could tell pretty easily

if you want i can take some upclose pics of the mounting locations

edit from looking at the wiki page for the g5 it looks like they used the same components in all of them the difference was just the screen
