on another note i tried those sRBG settings you posted and cant really tell a differnece aside from brightness if i switch to fps and put it at 35 brightness they lookk the same ughhh have a brand new pair of nvidia 3dvision 2 glasses but dont even want to open them till i ge tthe colors to loookk decent black and grey are ughh (and i left it in sRBG mode with your settings) fps is just about the same..

Nice, I really like the monitor. Very crisp, and much more responsive I think. I can tell a difference if BF3, although I had to turn the settings down to HIGH, instead of ULTRA to get the FPS >70 consistantly. I figure spending this much on a monitor and then running at 70FPS instead of 60 was a bit silly. BTW< I really want that Nvidia 3d vision 2 kit now, Just got a blu-ray burner as an early christmas present form my girlfriend, and I'm dying to do 3D stuff. Games/video, ect.

well i tried sRBG with the settings someone posted here (which is what i left it at) but it looks similar in color in fps mode and compared to an ips ya its no ips lol but im not complaining about the viewing angles its the color im not colorphile but i do see the difference having them cloned to each other my LG ips is amazing colors mainly the black and grey this one is too bright or i cant really explain it but im waiting on tech support to respond see if they got another template to play with

I was debating to wait for newer XL2420 series to come out in the states or buy up a cheap XL2410T.

So went ahead and bought the refurbed XL2410T, 200 bucks for a 120Hz gaming class monitor is a nice deal. Has all the features you want for gaming, one of the best input lag times. I understand the color and settings is slightly lacking out-of-box but from what I understand if you take time to tweak it, it's pretty much similar to other TN panels.

I ordered mine on the 13th and they shipped it out next day so thats nice.

I've got to say, their customer support is very lacking. They don't respond to emails and I've tried to get a support online without anyone coming in the online chat. All I wanted to know is what is included with buying refurbished. Does it come with a dual-link DVI cable? Maybe someone here that has bought it refurbished can help me out. Thanks

It'll give you a reason to upgrade your video cards next gen? I'm guessing I'll upgrade sooner than later to try to hit 60+ or try out 3d.

No idea but if your already ordered it, why not check if it is dual link or not?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:DVI_Connector_Types.svg

Let us know if the new refurbs come with a dual link! It'll save me some money buying online earlier than rushing out to pick it up when I receive the monitor.

Now to find a cheap GTX 570 + 3d glasses.

I so did not plan to upgrade to 3d by this year.

Is the backlight bleeding problem for the BenQ XL2410T that big of a problem? I'm in the market for a new monitor, upgrading from an only LG 19" LCD from like '05-'06
