What's scaring me too is the data bottleneck. I have 2 other RAID arrays on the Intel controller hub... One RAID 0 and one RAID 1.

If I would have had a PCI-Express RAID card, I would not have worried about this, but everything plugged onto the same hub ... it makes a lot of people talking at a very high speed ....

Should I be worried about bottleneck ?


Since there is no TRIM, doesn't it mean that the drives need to be low level formatted (secure deleted) once in a while ?
