Dunno what to think about the temps though, shoots straight up to ~70-72 and stays there (primed for 2h).

Nice chip - can we trade? wink.gif

To be rock solid 24/7 folding stable mine takes 1.48 for 4.9.

I've hit a brick wall, I think this is the max my chip can do. I have tried everything I know, except lowering the number of cores. I only had enough time to get this validated before it crashed.

5563.17MHz biggrin.gif http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2335771

Max so far with 2 cores. (forgot to disable hyper threading)

What is everyones thoughts on the upcoming ASrock Extreme11? I would love to pick one up for my upcoming build, does anyone know if a release date has been set?

Looks like they unlocked the SAS ports, I would wait and see some reviews to see if it performs stably since it isn't within Intel spec.

An LSI SAS2308 storage processor adds eight SAS/SATA 6 Gb/s ports featuring several Raid modes

That is one full featured board.. Might have to consider it in the future for whatever reason. That thing looks badass. Looks like they are gunning for the ROG group.

Updated to 4.9 - still using offset mode on VCORE, a pain but worth it IMHO.

458

Valid

660

1HR OCCT Stable / HyperPI 32M Stable, vast majority of the hour VCORE was 1.376, hit 1.384 only toward the end.

Does anyone know whats considered a good binning process for these chips? I assume its similar to regular sandy's like disabling down to two cores and disabling hyperthreading and so on but whats a good votage to use?
