Out of stock here
My local MC has some in stock. Or maybe TD. Pretty sick RAM for 16GB and less than $100 for 4 sticks. Just be ready for people to ask you if you remembered to install your memory when you post screenshots, they are that small. You can see a couple of shots of them installed on an R4E in my gallery.

Can't speak about PSU and 2 680s, but that's the one I have and it's performing perfectly with a 4.8Ghz OC and one 6850.
EDIT: I have the AX850

Yee I kinda wanna be a fashion queen and get pretty heatsinks. Although you are right those Samsung are INSANE value and performance

Thinkin of going all out and buying Dominators 2133 CL9 1.5v 2133 and slapping myself in the face the next day.

I should be recieving the 3930k in 6 weeks! Plenty of time to prepare. I'm gonna be severely limited by this H100 I feel but we'll see how it goes. The number 5 turns me on wink.gif

Is anyone running a R4E in the switch 810? Does it have mounting holes for all the rightmost mobo screws?

got the new CPU from intel a bit back, then had to RMA my motherboard and so far i am unimpressed with this combos OC ability, the most i have booted into windows at is just 4.3GHz and that was previously a 1.2V OC and it took 1.3V to just boot NOT STABLE at all so i am kind of frustrated not to mention for whatever reason with the new board i am getting terrible temps like 10C warmer than when i first used me H100 and 5C warmer than the old board, the strange thing is that my GTX 580 is running warmer too and it is on its own separate WC loop that hasn't been changed, between the two boards i didn't even drain the GPU loop so i need to talk to EVGA about that...

soooo back to X79 OC i will put up a validation as soon as i get my nice 4.5GHz + 24/7 OC stabilized and rockin then hopefully a 5GHz+ validation but as I said before I don't think this chip is able to do much OC wise works great at stock so i can't RMA it frown.gif

if you can't OC this chip then most likely you are doing something way wrong....these chips are very OC'able IMO......what are you settings....are you trying to Auto Up in the bios......
no, i am manually doing the exact same process i did with the last chip/motherboard combo to get 4.5GHz stable and with this combo i can't get over 4.2GHz stable even with 1.3V going through the chip and it won't even start to boot windows at 5GHz with 1.5V so i am at a loss haven changed anything on it from default maybe the IMC on this chip is worse than the last one so if i dial back my ram a bit it may run a little faster because it is at 2133MHz with tight timings, the thing is that it took very little to stabilize it at that speed less than the last chip even so i am at a loss as to what is wrong with this setup.

Add me to the owners club. This chip for me has been very difficult to overclock . I tried manually doing my own thing I can only do up to 4.3ghz at 1.36 vcore stable. I have also tried asus youtube video guide, can get into windows @ 4.8ghz with 1.41 vcore but the same thing happens only 4.3ghz stable in prime95. I have changed and tried manual and offset vcore , tried different settings but cant get the chip prime stable over 4.3:( any help will be appreciated.
