Pll overvoltage is set to high as medium crashes even on 4.3ghz.. Stock vcore is something like 1.30 .. If i remember correctly
I have used both manual vcore and offset with somewhere around 1.368-1.384 on load to run 4,3ghz.
Today i tested leaving the stable overclock settings of 4.3ghz with a 103-105 bclk which resulted in 4.4-4.6 ghz but I am having prime95 rounding errors.

okay, with that high of a stock VCORE you probably just have a crappy chip, my stock VCORE on both 3930ks i have owned were about 1.1V so you will need more voltage than others will be running at, that said with your chip push it up to 1.45V and see if you can do more on the multiplier because the increased BLCK could ruin your three 680's which would SUCK.

I have changed and tried manual and offset vcore , tried different settings but cant get the chip prime stable over 4.3:( any help will be appreciated.

That just does not seem right. Most of these can get to 41-42 on stock volts.

Two things: one, read this to get familiar with OC on X79.

Then here are my settings I posted a couple weeks ago. Do not use them as they are posted, they are for 16GB of samsung RAM. Adjust the RAM timings and RAM voltages to fit your kit. Also, don't try to jump straight to 48. Start at 45 or 46 and work up until your H100 is the limiting factor.

Also, for the initial OC why not save yourself some frustration and only use 16GB of RAM until you get it stable and get a little more familiar with OCing on X79 ? Are you using 4GB DIMMs or 8GB ?

They are 4gb dimms. All the overclocks have been done on 2 memory sticks (8gb) . I wont mess with blck again, no way am i going to destroy 1800euros worth of gpus for a overclock. I will be re checking what stock voltage my cpu runs at because i think i might have misread something.
I dont think jj's asus guide settings would not be sufficient on overclock stability for 4.4ghz (1.384) offset -0.005.

I set normal settings on ez mode in the uefi bios and only changed the ram from auto to 1600mhz. Temps range from idle 29-40 degrees (25-28c ambient i think) and at prime95 max load is 58- 69c. My vcore is idle @ 0.848 and max load @1.312-1.32 ?????????????????????. I think i have the worst chip ever. As before any help would be appreciated. to see what i can get from this bugger

If that is what software is reporting I would try sticking a multimeter on your board to see what the actual VCore is.

So I got my 3930k waiting for me at home, picking up an R4E on the way. My Ram is not here, I should be able to boot it with 2 ram sticks right? Not sure which slots to use for only 2, was thinking the red slots closest to the CPU on each side..
