That's kind of interesting, especially since I have the C-states and Virtualization on. I did my 5.2GHz validation with both on and with all cores and hyperthreading enabled.

Okay, now to bug you guys again, EVGA has offered to give me a complete refund on my X79 Classy but before I go ahead with it I will give the board one last chance for OCablity and see if it gets stable or not (which I doubt) so my question is is even if I get my X79 Classy stable should I stay at the Classy or go to a Rampage IV Extreme or try out the ASrock Extreme 11??

Is 55C CPUpackage temp warm for 4.3Ghz @ 1.3v load voltage? Running Prime for a while, core temps max out around 64C, but the CPU temp is 55C. Does this sound about right or should there be a bigger difference between the core and package temps?

Thread Starter

Welcome: struddles, Jokah, Silvos00!!

Also, good work on improving your overclock, MrTOOSHORT.

On a side note, I've created a second sheet on the leaderboard, titled "Analysis". It gives some interesting statistics on all the overclocks. If there is anything else members wish to see, just post up!
