You should put a graph in there with the average voltage each processor requires to get to a certain frequency on average.

Also, good work on improving your overclock, MrTOOSHORT.

On a side note, I've created a second sheet on the leaderboard, titled "Analysis". It gives some interesting statistics on all the overclocks. If there is anything else members wish to see, just post up!

but would it be possible to a different shade of colour or a more easier to notice colour difference. Maybe its just this monitor on this laptop or its just my eyes redface.gif but I can't really tell the difference between air and water lol

There is a "popup" label when you hover mouse cursor on the pie chart.

Out of curiosity, what is the average amount of "threads" used by owners of these 3 processors? I feel that 12 is unnecessarily high for everyday computing, and would be better to run a higher clock and lower temps, with either HT disabled or disabling 2 or 3 cores. Any thoughts/experience on this?

If you are disabling cores on a 3930k you would be better off with a 3770k build.

The 3930k was actually cheaper than even the 2500k, so I couldn't really pass it up. I will have better cooling soon, but for now I'm just trying to figure out if disabling a core or 2 will give a better OC with less temps.

umm no it won't, these are the sandybridge cores and disabling one or two may gain you a 100mhz but that is about it.

It is some kind of funny situation before upgrading your processor was bottleneck in the system -> now is complete system bottleneck for the processor upsidedwnsmiley.gif
